    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Voyager

    Description:
What does "Call Slip Item Required" (in System Admininistration > OPAC > Miscellaneous) do?

    Resolution:
If check box for "Call Slip Item Required", then call slip requests can only be placed if there is item attached to the requested bib that is Call Slip eligible in the Circulation Policy matrices.

If do not check box for "Call Slip Item Required", then call slip requests can be placed if there is no item attached to a requested bib - for example, bound serials that may not have individual item records. Additionally,
    * When an itemless call slip is filled in the Call Slip client, an item record must be created.
    * If there are items attached to the requested bib that are not Call Slip eligible in the Circulation Policy matrices, an itemless call slip request can be made if any of the mfhd locations attached to the bib are in a call slip print group.
