    Record sets can't be exported when record set name contains slash or pipe character

    • Product: Voyager
    • Product Version: 9.1.1, 9.2.0
    • Relevant for Installation Type:  Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

     

    Symptoms

    Regardless of the name of the record set, records should be exported in the Record Sets>Export screen in GDC

    Defect Status

    VYG-6896 is resolved for Voyager 9.2.1 and higher.

    Replication Steps

    1. In GDC: Record Sets, choose a record set and click Export.
    2. Popup displays to choose where the record set should be saved.
    3. Rename the same record set to contain / or |
    4. Click Export; Voyager does not pop up the file selector and appears to do nothing.

    Workaround

    Do not allow GDC record set names to include / or |
