Bug Report for Issue # 15918
Module: Media Scheduling
Release(s): 2000.1.3, 2001.1
Server Platform(s) affected: Solaris (all)
Customer should be able to prevent operators from editing, cancelling, or deleting bookings made at locations to which they do not have the
privilege to create bookings. This would be consistent with Voyager Circulation's option to deselect Courtesy Discharge.
When they go to the Schedule, and View either Day, Month, or Year, 1) they DO see the bookings for other locations, and 2) they are able to
Delete or Cancel bookings for other locations.
This could be improved by at least having the PRINT option allow to select by agency, so while you would still View all bookings, you would not
have to Print them all. Customer considers the fact that you can EDIT, DELETE, and DISCHARGE from this View bookings that do NOT belong
to your library, and for which you do NOT have the security to create, to be the part that is REALLY a disaster.
* In media SA set security as "media clerk", and did NOT select the location of ACQ desk.
* Made a booking with ACQ desk as "Full Access" security profile.
* Logged in as media clerk.
* went to schedule to view & could view, edit, cancel, and delete this booking.
Related to enhancement request 65941 (for the ability to block the viewing of bookings from other locations via Schedule).
Fixed in Media in Voyager 6.5.4.
