Course Reserve Re-indexing: "Invalid parent proc";"Param Initialization Failure"

Description:
Re-indexing of our abc31 library was submitted via the Web Course Reserves page. The indexing started but did not complete. Here is a sample of what one of the logs in the data_scratch directory said:
Invalid parent proc 00,N, defined for this sub proc
Param List: ABC31,0,000000000,999999999,,01,N
Param Initialization Failure, Exiting !!!
We found a work around by stopping batch, killing incomplete processes and unlocking the library, then running the jobs from the GUI client.
Resolution:
The distributed ./a18_2/aleph/www_r_eng/r-main4 screen {which appears as the initial "Management of Course Reading Lists for USMARC Course(USM30) Library" screen} no longer contains the Re-indexing option.
The intention is that the re-indexing should be done via the GUI Services. If the ue_01 indexing daemon is running in the xxx30 library, reindexing should not be necessary.
