Aleph Version 19 Upgrade Express Step 1002

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
Step 1002 in the Aleph version 18-19 Upgrade Express should:

--Create the z13u table and its indexes in a library if they do not already exist. It does this.

--Move data in z13 user-defined fields to the z13u table. It does remove them from z13. It does not add them
to z13u. This is true whether old style definitions (USER-DEF-1, etc.) or new style definitions (USER-1) are
used in tab22 for the library. This user-defined data disappeared in the first run of this step, and it continues to
disappear after data is restored to re-run the step, whether or not the z13u is dropped before the rerun.

    Resolution:
    From Ex Libris:

This has been fixed (locally, on this one customer's server).

The data needs to be restored, and then step 1002 should be rerun.
